Expert Care Guide with Every Plant

7-Day Undamaged Plant Guarantee

Refund & Returns

At PlantMailer, we ship living, breathing tropical specimens directly to your doorstep. Because live plants require specialized care and experience a unique journey during transit, our return and refund framework is specifically designed to protect both you and your new plant.

We proudly stand behind our transit protocols with our 7-Day Live Plant Guarantee.

The 7-Day Live Plant Guarantee

We closely track every shipment. From the exact timestamp your package is marked "Delivered" by the carrier, you are fully covered by our 7-Day Guarantee.

What is Covered:

  • Severe Transit Damage: Structural snapping of the primary stem, completely crushed foliage, or a entirely smashed root system due to rough carrier handling.

  • Extreme Thermal Shock: Plants that arrive completely dead, frozen, or entirely cooked due to unpredicted, extreme weather spikes encountered during transit.

  • Severe Drop/Rot: Instances where a plant sheds all or the vast majority of its leaves within the first 7 days, or exhibits severe stem/root rot immediately upon unboxing.

What is NOT Covered (Normal Transit Stress):

Living plants often experience minor stress when spending days in a dark box. The following minor issues are completely natural, cosmetic, and easily correctable with basic aftercare. They do not qualify for a refund or replacement:

  • Minor cosmetic blemishes (such as a small tear on a single leaf or a bruised bottom lower leaf).

  • Slight leaf drooping or minor dehydration that bounces back completely after its first deep watering session.

  • Loss of one or two older, bottom leaves as the plant shifts energy to its core structural system during acclimation.

  • Premature Repotting: To keep your guarantee fully active, your plant must remain in its original transit nursery pot for the first 1–2 weeks. Initiating a repotting process within the first 7 days voids this guarantee, as it introduces immediate, unnecessary root shock.

The "No Physical Return" Rule for Live Plants

Please do not mail live plants back to us. Shipping a living plant is highly stressful. Attempting to package a compromised or damaged plant and shipping it back a second time will ultimately kill the specimen.

Because of this, we will never ask you to physically pack up and mail a live plant back to our greenhouse. If your claim is valid and approved under our 7-Day Guarantee, we will simply issue a brand-new replacement or a full refund without requiring a physical return.

How to File a Claim

If your plant arrives in a severely compromised state, our greenhouse care team will resolve it immediately. Please follow these steps within 7 days of delivery:

  1. Document the Condition: Take clear, well-lit photos of the damaged plant from multiple angles. Please ensure at least one photo shows the plant in its entirety, and another shows the condition of the shipping box if it arrived smashed or torn.

  2. Submit Your Request: Email our dedicated care desk directly at tropicaltreasure123@gmail.com.

  3. Include Your Details: State your Order Number, the name of the specific plant variant, and a brief description of the issue.

Evaluation & Resolution

Our greenhouse specialists review all claims within 24–48 business hours. Once we verify the transit damage or biological failure, you will be given the option of:

  • A 100% Free Replacement of the exact same plant variant dispatched early the following week.

  • A Full Refund processed instantly back to your original payment method (please allow 3–5 business days for your banking institution to post the funds to your statement).
